Our local WUSC committee arranged for classes across campus to stand up in their respective classes at 9:30am on Oct 17, and they stood for one minute.
We gathered our staff together and talked about poverty and how we want to be part of the solution. Then we had our picture taken in front of our cafe & roastery in Grand Pre, NS, Canada
During our regular Sun. worship we will be focusing on Making Poverty History. We will be Standing together as a community to eraditcate poverty. Everyone is welcome. Church is located at 2096 Windsor St. Halifax.

Midway through our lecture we will all stand up to show our government that we won’t stand down against poverty and global issues. We are going to make a difference in the world.
Each student in our school will be introduced to the MDG and stand up while the plegde is being read
Victoria Park this Friday at 5pm! inviting all humans, animals, musicians, artists, interest groups, non-interest groups, etc …hoping to have a good time while bringing attention to poverty not only in our own city but around the world. COME wearing WHITE to share knowledge, ideas, FEED NS food bank donations, questions, and answers :-)
