In Eastern Province there will be mobilization for schools to participate in Stand Up in the Makindu Division with the help of Division education officer. In line with this, all schools in the division will observe Stand Up on 17th.
The event will comprise of speeches and yelling against poverty at Mumbuni Primary School in Machakos district of Kenya. The pupils will dance and sing against poverty with posters, fliers, banners and pamplets and send the message to the local leaders. Speeches will be made by local political leaders (councillors, chief, the headmaster and teachers) .
The event is organized by Kyamulendu Football Association which is a church based organization.It will take place at Kyamulendu primary school grounds at Tala, Kangundo constituency.
To speak with students on normal life issues and being a semi arid area focus more on how best we can improve the average living standards and girl child education.We kindly request for financial supportof about ksh15,000 so that we can have lunch as we speak . The event will be held at Thitani girls secondary school, Migwani Division, Mwingi District, Kenya.
