Gorta World Food Day Conference 2008 will focus on the issues of World food security, the challenges of climate change and the private sector’s response to achieving the Millennium Development Goals. The half-day event will be launched by the Ireland’s Minister of State for Overseas Aid, Peter Power, T.D. Guest speakers include David McWilliams, Economist; Edward Millard from Rainforest Alliance and Trevor Sargent, T.D., Ireland’s Minister of State for Food and Horticulture.

This conference will take place in the St. Stephen’s Green Club, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.
