The Sunsari and Saptari districts of eastern region of Nepal fall under the heavily affected areas of recent Koshi floods in Nepal. Thousands of families, particularly of poor and marginalised, women, children, old age people have been affected. Morethan 1,00,000 people were mobilised for raising their rights to have food, shelter and health facilities along with their rights be rehabilitated.
