On October 17th 2008 the Cottbus development network \ “Cottbus gives 8 \” organizes a day of action “Play Fair” on the city hall square in Cottbus to think about the poor working conditions in the global sportswear industry. In addition to educational booths, there will be a fair street football tournament. The climax of the action day is 04:00 p.m. with the STAND UP in front of the city hall. The Mayor Frank Szymanski invites all inhabitants of Cottbus to participate in this action and to participate symbolically against global poverty and for the Millennium Development Goals. We wish an active participation.
