Very interesting to this event for poverty

It was an assembly of Foster Parents and Children of the HIV/AIDS ORPHANED Programme, leaders of women and youths farming groups, and leaders of member network NGOs involved in Grassroots Campaign against poverty We had two items on the Agenda, which were Intensifying the campaign against Marginilisation of HIV/AIDS Orphans, and the Providing of life skills to the Orphans and Promotion of self help micro projects to reduce poverty in homes. We deliberated and resolved that all the leaders present should work closely with the grassroots especially the youths and women ,encouraging them to build up farming groups in order to own larger farms which are cost effective and more feasible. We also resolved that every house hold in the community should be sensitized to grow ginger which we could in the end come up a ginger drink production Unit. Finally we all agreed to identify the orphans in our various Communities so that the Foster family Care programme for these children could achieve results that will make an impact. When we start seeing less street children malingering on our streets then we shall be happy.

THE ROLE OF THE YOUTH IN FOOD AND ENERGY RECYCLING what exactly the youth should have done

THis event started at exactly 8am. The theme of the the conference was "CARE FOR THE DESTITUDE CHILDREN". You see in the area that we live, there are alot of suffering children who are not going to school and at the age of 7years the child has started horking(mobile selling of little consumer goods). We saw all these as a big slapp at the faces of these destitude children. So we put some efforts to meet some of the parents of the children and by speaking to them, we realised that the cause of all these was the lack of quality job in this country with a salary which can settle most of their needs. So they rather frefare their children to sell without thinking of how these children will go to school. Furthermore, the problem of poverty has made this children to suffer from deseases . So we talked on how we can help these children off these problems. We tried and raised some little fund which we bought some neccessary drugs and vaccination programms were lunched by us. It should be highly noted that, there are some areas in our country cameroon that has been totally ignored by our government despite the countless requests that we have been sending to the government. These children need quality drinking water because they are drinking from a dirty sauce which helps in increasing the level of deseases thereby leading to many deads. They also need to go to school because the schools here are very expensive in such a way that the poor can not afford to pay the fees. all in all we are trying our maximum best to help these children and their parents.

IIMR: HAFLONG: N.C.HILLS 1. HOLISTIC HEALTH SOLUTION CAMP: The first ever “Holistic Health Solution” camp was indeed amazing one and village community took part at large and they were curious to know much more about health and wellness to maintain their health in all the way through integrated approach such as exercise (during the exercise session like mobility, flexiblty, strength et. all villagers took part audaciously), Nutrition, Dependencies and Hygiene. During the camp Nutritional supplement like calcium, iron and for worm infestation were also distributed free of cost jointly by IFAD-NCHCRMS and IIMR-Wellness Rx Center IIMR, Haflong along with some essential medicine to all the village community. Location: Laisong Village: Hikikram 61.5 K.M away from Haflong inhabited by Zeme Naga Tribal Community Benefits: The village community are mainly afflicted with lifestyle diseases like Malaria, Jaundice, Skin ailment degenerative diseases such as Arthritis, Malnutrition, Tuberculosis etc. and other most preventable diseases due to poor Hygine, Sanitation Health Care facilities to one side lack of awareness. The above camp generated awareness to the village people how to incorporate healthy lifestyle with orientation training to local NGOs involved for long-term target. The above area will further improve through early intervention and creating awareness and interacting the masses organizing training to individual or groups from rural area for supporting need base and organizing such camps. 2. AWARNESS CAMPS ON FEMALE FOETICIDE/CHILD MARRIAGE AND GNDER EQUALITY: The awareness camps on female Foeticides, Child marriage and gender equality was organized by IIMR-Wellness Rx Center, Haflong in collaboration with NYK, Haflong, N.C.Hills, Assam.The camp was mainly attended by Rural youth including women, program along with workshop was held during the 2 days seminars to create awareness to village leaders including religious leader. Legal concept on female Foeticides, Child marriage such as sex determination, dowry system, and child marriage and gender equality were also discussed broadly to reduce the cause significantly. Location: Jatinga Village, N.C.Hills, Haflong, Tribal Community Benefits: The above program benefited 50 youths including village religious leader and women organization from jatinga. The camp was mainly to create awareness among the rural community on effect, cause, remedies, legalities and social reforms to eradicate and to improve the above area interacting the mases in general. IIMR: HAFLONG: N.C.Hills 3. PHYSICAL FITNESS AND YOGA CAMP IN SCHOOL & CLUBS: Yoga and Physical fitness camps organized in alliance with NYK, youth clubs and schools to improve the fitness level in community as well as in schools. The sedentary lifestyle is also one of the key factors of illness in community both in rural and urban scenario. In other hand Yoga practice among rural and urban area is encouraged in regular basis, which gives overall fitness apart from psychosomatic ailment. Yoga also teaches how to adopt healthy life style such as healthy diet; hygine and keep abstain from Smoking and Alcohol. Location: Sarkaribagan Haflong, Mahur schools and in Jatinga Village. Benefits: Physical fitness and yoga is organized mainly to promote wellness in community along with desired schools to achieve wellness. The camp also emphasized on continuing the process of fitness incorporating yoga in clubs and schools in long run daily for 15-30 minutes during the school hour as part of school health program. And in other hand participating youths were encouraged to organize the fitness and yoga in the morning session in groups of man and women simultaneously for child, adolescence and older people.

la journée mondiale de lutte contre la pauvreté a été célébré au Sénégal : Deux événements majeurs ont marqué cette événement : 1. Une procession dans les rues de Dakar pour symboliser la pauvreté à travers des catégiries sociales de jeunes , de femmes , d'associations et syndicats, afin de sensibiliser l'opinion national et international sur la pauvreté . -2.Le requiem qui était une occasion de se tenir debout et de parler haut et fort à travers un chant musical composé par une chorale suivi d'une chorte symbolisant les couches les plus vulnérable à la pauvreté.
