This classes are community run sessions, by the volunteers of the Sathy Sai Centre of Central Brisbane. Childrens are aged between 5 years of age to teenages.
The pledge will be read after the session.
AFTER THE PLEDGE WAS READ THE GROUP PLEDGED TO PLANT 175 TREES.
The Men of the Trees (MOTT) is a non-profit, non-political international society dedicated in fostering the planting, maintenance and protection of trees.
Runcorn State High school at 9:00am on the oval before class starts. It will end around 10am and Make Poverty History wrist bands will be sold and donations collected. The students will form the letters ‘STAND UP’ on the oval and an aerial picture will be taken from a cherry picker platform 42 metres high.

After prayer and discussion, class 4A, teacher, assistant, student teacher and visitors will go to the assembly area and make our stand against poverty
This is a special event for the Brisbane Art of Living Team. It is in celebration of the intensive tree planting effort being put in the by the team over the past few months.
It will also be a great way to encourage and reinforce the pledges made to plant by July 2009.
The Pledge is being read during the school assembly. The Principle of the school Mr Gary Gower feels very strongly about the students gaining an awareness about the Millennium Development Goals.
The school has 14 classes and each class planted a native tree the the area during the National Tree Day.
Students and staff will STAND UP to share and talk about Stand Up Pledge and continue Mission work for the week.
