Walk4Change is our StandUp Against Poverty event in Lagos Nigeria on Sat. 18th October 2008, with participation from the Ministry for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. We are mobilizing 100,000 people to StandUp Against poverty and walk for the fulfillment of the MDGs. The Walk will kick off at Maryland by 7:00am en route Ikeja to Governor’s Office Alausa.
Inside the prestigiuous Oranmiyan Hall of Lagos Airport Hotel on Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Tarshish Communications Ltd will be mobilising about 1000 people to attend the event on 17th of October 2008. Activities include speeches by Dr Joe Odumakin, Barr Bamidele Aturu and Chief Dele Momodu. The Guest of Honour is Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu a member of the House of Representatives.
