The 2nd annual Music4Change Vancouver is a benefit concert that will be held on Friday, October 17th, 2008, at Richard’s on Richards club in Vancouver. The show is in recognition of the United Nation Designated Day for the Eradication of Poverty (October 17th). It is a showcase of Canadian independent music. Five bands have donated their time and talent and will each play a set to show their support of Oxfam and to inform the younger generation of global issues that affect us all. In addition, guest speakers will touch on poverty issues in Vancouver and around the world.
