We will be gathering together at noon and have the Dean of the campus welcome the group. There is an opportunity for people to donate “small change for big change” and monies collected will be going to the Orillia Sharing Place Foodbank and an Emergency Baby needs cupboard hosted at the Orillia Ontario Early Years Centre.

Throughout Simcoe/Muskoka the YMCA will be asking people to stand up against Poverty and to Stand FOR peace & freedom for all people. At 12 noon on October 17th, each Membership centre will ask people to gather while the pledge is read aloud by a member of our Board or greater community.
