A musical event with the participation by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, UN Staff, media, NGOs, religious leaders and public figures. The UN Resident Coordinator will deliver a statement and UNICEF GoodWill Ambassador will read the pledge to attendees.
A Musical Concert by the Bad Apple youth band held at Al-Sawy Culture Wheel in Zamalek with the attendence of 400 people, mostly youth. The pledge was read by the head of the Band to attendees and T-Shirts & Caps were distributed and put on by youth attending the concert.
Stand Up in Schools and youth centers

Four iEARN schools from Cairo and Giza will organize a stand up against poverty event in each school on Sunday Oct.19th 2008. The schools are; 1. El Nasr Lang. School, Heliopolis, Cairo 2. Abou Bakr El sedek Exp. School, Giza 3. Suzan Mubarak Sec. School for girls , Giza 4. El Nahda El Hadesa Exp. School, Giza
