This event is the culmination of an e-campaign to highlight just how much time – second by second, person by person – remains for world leaders to meet their MDG commitments. Throughout the three days of Stand Up, participants can submit a photo of themselves holding a number 0 – 9. These pictures will become the Countdown Clock.
Each participant also reads and acknowledges the Stand Up pledge before submitting a photo.
