Throughout Simcoe/Muskoka the YMCA will be asking people to stand up against Poverty and to Stand FOR peace & freedom for all people. At 12 noon on October 17th, each Membership centre will ask people to gather while the pledge is read aloud by a member of our Board or greater community. Fair Trade refreshments & snacks will be provided and displays will be set up to provide further information regarding global issues. Locations will include: Barrie YMCA, Collingwood YMCA, Midland YMCA, Orillia YMCA, Parry Sound YMCA, Wasaga Beach YMCA.
