WOMEN WALKING FOR PEACE AND AGAINST POVERTY 19th October 2008, 2.00pm George Square, Glasgow, ScotlandWomen, Stand Up and Take Action! The sponsored walk will start from George Square,Glasgow to St Mungo’s Museum and back to the City Chambers,Glasgow where there will be refreshments and a opportunity to hear what you can do to help end poverty.The money collected will fund the TARA Project based in Glasgow which provides care to women who have been trafficked and supports them to re-integrate back into society.
